Inspired by uMakhulu’s beadwork, iNtombo ka Makhulu brings the rhythm of her hands to time itself. The bold reds and deep blacks echo the traditional beads she used most  colours of strength, protection, and love. Each brushstroke feels like a memory stitched in motion, honouring the women who made beauty from fragments.

The soft blue backdrop mirrors the stillness of early morning light in the Eastern Cape, where stories were told over bead mats and tea. Every tick is a pulse of heritage, reimagined in modern form.
